“To anyone who’s got musical dreams or just any dreams and goals in general, do your best, believe in yourself, and don’t let anybody bring you down.”

This is the message that Isaiah Firebrace, the winner of The X-Factor Australia 2016 and the Australian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, shared in the first meeting with Scotch AGS students at campus No. 05 Truong Quoc Dung, Phu Nhuan District.

About this visit, Isaiah Firebrace said that this is his second time visiting Vietnam. He felt very happy to be at a school marked by the educational cooperation between the two countries, Vietnam and Australia.

The meeting between Isaiah Firebrace and all Scotch AGS students was cordial and warm. He excitedly shared about his childhood with a big dream to stand on stage and show his voice. For Isaiah, music is a borderless language that connects everyone.

The 23-year-old male singer also believes that this is an important factor in education as it is a catalyst to help students create inspiration in communication, learning, and creativity. Besides, he expressed a desire to perform his music all over the world. That is the reason he has constantly worked hard and tried to pursue his musical dream.

In particular, Isaiah Firebrace also performed the hit song “If I Ain’t Got You”, which helped bring him the title of Winner of The X-Factor Australia 2016.

Not only a young singer, Isaiah also had an influence on Aboriginal Australian history and culture when he released his first publication, titled “Come Together”, the Number 1 bestselling children’s book about Australia’s culture of first countries. He gave this book to the Scotch AGS library with a deep message to students: “No matter where you come from, you can become the person you want to be and achieve your dreams if you give 100% effort”.
